【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationcoverssiliconeadhesivesandsealantsintendedforbutnotlimitedtosealingandretainingmetallicandnonmetalliccomponentassembliesintransportationapplications.Thematerialscuretoanelastomericstatebytheirspecifiedcuresystemandmechanism.Note1Theclassificationsystemmayservemanyoftheneedsofindustriesusingsiliconematerials.Thisclassificationissubjecttorevision,astheneedrequires;therefore,thelatestrevisionshouldalwaysbeused.1.2Thisclassificationisintendedtobeameansofclassifyingsiliconematerials.Itisnotintendedforengineeringdesignpurposes.1.3Itisnottheintentofthisclassificationtoincludepressure-sensitiveorhot-meltadhesives.1.4InallcasesinwhichtheprovisionsofthisclassificationsystemwouldconflictwiththereferencedASTMstandardforaparticularmethod,thelattershalltakeprecedence.1.5si-value;Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section,ofthisclassification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
