【摘要】:Thetrapezoidtearingloadisatensiontestinwhichtheteststrengthisdeterminedprimarilybytheinterlockingstructureofthefibers.Itisusefulforestimatingrelativeeaseoftearingofleather.Theprocedurecanalsobeusedtodetermineifthereisanyappreciabledifferenceintherelativestrengthoftheleatherintheparallelandtheperpendiculardirectionstothebackbone.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofthetearingloadofnonwovenfabricsbythetrapezoidmethodforleather.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytowetblue.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
