【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeter-minationoftheresistanceofmouldedtestspecimensofpolypropyleneandpropylene-copolymerstoacceleratedageingbyheatinthepresenceofairusingaforceddraughtoven.Themethodrepresentsanattempttoestimatetheservicelifeofpartsfabricatedfrompropyleneplastics.Thestabilitydeterminedbythismethodisnotdirectlyrelatedtothesuitabilityofthematerialforusewhendifferenten-vironmentalconditionsprevail.NOTE—Thespecifiedthermallevelsareconsideredsufficientlyseveretocausefailureofcommercialgradesofheat-stablepropyleneplasticswithinareasonableperiodoftime.Ifdesired,lowertemperaturescanbeappliedtoestimatetheperformanceofpropyleneplasticswithlowerheatstabilities.
