【摘要】:ThisCodeprovidesdirectionsandrulesfortheconductingandreportingofperformancetestsonsingleormulti-stageejectorunits.Theprimaryobjectofthetestmeasurementsdescribedhereinistoestablish:(a)Ejectorcapacityinrelationtosuctionpressure;(b)Dischargepressureinrelationtosuctionpressure;(c)Theflowrateofthemotivefluidinrelationtoastipulatedpressureandtemperature;and(d)Ejectorstability;i.e.therelationofmotivefluidpressureorthedischargepressuretobreakdownandrecoveryofthepumpingaction.TherulesandproceduresofPTC24areintendedprimarilyforthetestofejectorsinwhichthemotivefluidissteam.Theymaybeused,however,withanymotivefluidforwhichthephysicalpropertiesarecompletelyandreliablyknown.Theinstructionsandcapacitymeasurementsprovidefortestswherethesuctionfluidpumpedisair,watervapor,orothergasesforwhichthephysicalandthermodynamicpropertiesareknown.Aprocedureisprovidedfortestsongasmixturesinwhichthecomponentscanbeseparatelymeasuredandcontrolled.Ifthemotivefluidissteamorothercondensablevapor,itmustbedry(withoutanymoisture).
