【摘要】:1Thisdocumentspecifiesthesafetyandhygienerequirementsforthedesignandmanufactureofsaladdryerstakingaccountofinstallation,cleaning,removalofjammedfood,feeding,maintenanceanddecommissioning.Thespinningfunctionisobtainedbytherotationofaperforatedbasketinwhichtheproductbeingprocessedisplaced.Itappliestomachines:—whichareintendedforuseinthecommercialandinstitutionalcateringindustry;—havingarotationspeedbetween300rpmand900rpm;—havinganominaloutputbelow2kW;—havinganominalvolumeofthebasketlessthan100l.Thesemachinescanbestationaryormovable.Themachinesconcernedbythisdocumentarethoseapplianceswhichareintendedforeliminatingbyspinningthewaterpresentonsaladafterwashing.Thesemachinescanalsobeusedforspinningothervegetablessuchasspinach,watercress,radish,Frenchbeans,etc.Themachinescoveredbythisdocumentarenotintendedtobecleanedwithwaterjet.Thisdocumentdealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttosaladdryers,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeClause4).NOTEIfthemachineisnotusedunderaboveconditions,themanufacturershouldverify,whenheisinformedofsuchsituation,ifthepreventivemeasuresremainvalid(see3.22ofENISO12100-1:2003).Thefeedingprincipleofthemachinecanbenotably:—manualloadingintothebasketleftinpositioninthemachine;—placinginandwithdrawalfromthemachineoftheloadedbasket.2Noiseisnotconsideredtobeasignificanthazardwithsaladdryers.Thisdoesnotmeanthatthemanufacturerofthesemachinesisabsolvedfromreducingnoiseandmakinganoisedeclaration.ThereforeanoisetestcodeisproposedinAnnexA.3Vibrationsarenotconsideredasahazardwiththesemachines.4ThisdocumentisnotapplicabletothemachineswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
